I was digging thru my vaults and uncovered some ancient photo albums from my childhood. Wow! All I can say is I was one really hot kid! Dont know what went wrong but I suspect that strange forces from the underbelly of the earth got jealous of my good looks and cast some magical aging spell on me! Either that or theres a conspiracy to keep me from being crowned the most handsome guy in the world. Yeah, I love conspiracy theories!
But I digress, which happens ever so often due to my extremely short and almost non-existent attention and also the fact that I usually have the memory of a goldfish with alzheimers when it comes to important matters!
So where was I? Oh yes, the old photos! Thats when it hit me that as much as we evolve, we only change back into what we were before! Allow me to explain before you get your oversize panties in a bunch and start picketing my blog. Change is the only constant in life, its inevitable. And change usually brings us back to where we started, and my old photos prove this!
Photos of my mum in a mini skirt and an afro remind me of the young girls I see prancing around in minis and afros these days! Photos of my dad and his tight bicep gripping shirts and addidas track suits and shell toes bring me back to the young guys who now call the tight shirts 'muscle shirts' and the track suits 'retro sweats' and the shell toe sneakers 'ol school sneaks!'
Which brings me back to change and the inevitable fact that all change becomes regressive in the end. Look at what the industrial change is bringing to the world, another 'Noah's flood' due to the rising levels in sea water and the melting of the polar caps! Look at where increased technology is taking us.Nowadays fewer and fewer people know how the machines we use actually work! All we know is to use the software thats being simplified so much that even a fetus can now operate computers (not literally but as a figure of speech though I wont be suprised if that happens)! And where does this leave us. It takes us back to the pre-medieval times when a few people knew how things work and controlled the world by making everyone else believe that they cant do without the wisdom of the 'chosen few.' Road rage can be equated to neanderthals battling it out for the right to use a hunting trail! Gang violence represents regression of our sub-conscious to a primitive level of kill or be killed for survival!
And all this stems from change!
Now back to those old photos of mine, did I tell you what a cute lil kid I was?

The Genius Village Idiot
Hey guys, welcome to The Genius Village Idiot. Just a lil insight into what I'm about.
My name is Curtis Xaha and this is my blog.I'm a young, artistically inclined guy who has so much crazy stuff going on in his head and maybe this is just the place to do so!
Born and raised in the coastal city of Mombasa in Kenya, my life has been a journey of self discovery. After making so many mistakes and tasting lots of success as well, I'm finally at a point where I can blab confidently about any and everything on God's earth.
So what do you expect to see on this blog?Poetry, jokes, me bitching about the government, me bitching about you, anecdotes from my crazy past and anything else generally deemed unfit for human consumption. Hehehe.
So welcome once again to The Genius Village Idiot, and lets have fun doing this!
